We Changed Our Name!

Greetings, dear friends!

We wanted to take a moment to inform you about our recent name change as we embark on a journey of self-discovery and growth. What originally began as TheVandersen transformed into Sweet Dreams are Made With RVs, and has now evolved into AndreaAndMike.com.

Now, you might be wondering why we decided to make this change. Well, as we approach the one-year mark of traveling in our RV, we realized that we don’t identify solely as “RVers.”

Yes, you read that correctly.

While we live and travel full-time in our RV, we see ourselves as individuals driven by wanderlust, seeking the next chapter in our lives. Traveling in an RV happens to be the means by which we explore the world. Keeping “RV” in our name would restrict the scope of our experiences and plans, potentially influencing what comes next in our lives, whether positively or negatively.

RVing has been an exciting and adventurous catalyst to liberate us from conventional constructs that left us feeling restless and weary. The opportunity to wake up in new locations, immerse ourselves in nature, and connect with new people is truly invaluable. We are thrilled that we embarked on this exploratory journey during a vibrant phase of our lives. Our decision to potentially settle down in the future is intuitively guided by our personal growth and development.

Although we don’t have immediate plans to settle down, we are preparing ourselves for the next phase. Having already visited 33 states (at the time of writing this article), we have witnessed an incredible amount in a relatively short span of time. If we were to eventually leave the road behind, we have an inkling that Western Michigan might be our chosen destination to establish roots. However, being self-employed and in the early stages of our businesses, obtaining a mortgage approval is challenging without a substantial cash reserve or the stability of traditional jobs with regular paychecks. Therefore, we will continue dedicating ourselves to our businesses, creating a comprehensive platform for everyone to follow along on our journey. Thus, AndreaAndMike.com was born.

We understand that some of you may be curious about Bruce Lee the Pug, and we’re happy to report that he is still an integral part of our lives. In fact, we have even created a dedicated website for Bruce, along with his Instagram handle, called BruceLeethePug.com. This site is a work in progress, but as you may already know, we have the expertise of an in-house web designer, Mike, who helps us manage multiple websites.

Let’s take a closer look at the websites we manage:

DelovelyDharma.com – Andrea’s coaching business, featuring blog posts on career coaching, health coaching, positivity, and even some healthy cooking recipes from our very own RV kitchen to yours.

ThatAndersenGuy.com – Mike’s web design business, where he collaborates with small business owners to create SEO-optimized websites that drive traffic to either outdated or completely new websites.

TravelingGatherings.com – An event listing website tailored for fellow travelers. It covers everything from RV shows and farmers markets to festivals and gatherings. If you’re on the road and looking for exciting activities, be sure to check out this site designed with you in mind.

BruceLeeThePug.com – If you’re in need of more Pug Love in your life, look no further than Bruce’s very own website. It offers product reviews, gift guides, and memes about the Pug Life.

To say that we are busy would be an understatement. We are more focused than ever on exploring, building, and growing as a couple and as small business owners.

If you like what you see, we invite you to subscribe to our newsletter. We’re still refining it, and it does take up quite a bit of our time. However, rest assured that we won’t bombard your inbox or be spammy. It’s simply an opportunity for us to send a note every other week or so and keep you updated on the latest happenings in our worlds.

We hope you’re having an incredible day, and we look forward to crossing paths with you on our journey!
